With respect to the job board, by accessing this site you acknowledge that all advertisements and their contents are the responsibility of the relevant advertiser, and not South West Sydney Mums. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the advertisement is genuine and any response to the advertisement is done so as a genuine potential candidate in your own personal capacity. If you are an advertiser you are responsible for the content of your job placement, and will make your best efforts to ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
The personal information we collect from your contributions to forums is used to administer the message boards, send you a password, contact you about postings and keep in touch with you. When you register you give us permission to deal with the postings as necessary to perform technical and administrative functions.
We will never give your personal information to any individual or company for commercial purposes.
If you have a complaint about SWSM or forums, contact us so that we can investigate the issue and make sure it is resolved. Please write to the Complaints Officer explaining what you are concerned about and what steps, if any, you have taken to resolve the issue. Advertising With Us
You can at any time request your Business Listing or advertisement to be removed, however you will not be refunded any costs. SWSM reserves the right to change its advertising costs at its discretion. You acknowledge by signing up to our Directory or Advertsing with us, that we have permission to use images from your social media sites to help promote your business. We have your permission to use any images we select without prior notification.
In terms of monitoring traffic to your website. We recommend that you use your own google analytics to monitor traffic to your site for statistical/data collecting purposes.
SWSM donates a portion of its profits to a different charity each quarter. If you are a registered charity, please email us to be considered.
Only locals living in Australia who are over the age of 18 years, are eligible to enter any sweepstake/competition. Unless stated otherwise, you may only enter each sweepstake/competition, once. By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook , Instagram and South West Sydney Mums from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstake, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize related activities, acceptance of a Prize and/or use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).

Job Board – Advertisers and Candidates
All parties are bound by the relevant laws regarding the detail of Ads and how the information obtained is managed. However, if we become aware of an ad being in any way inappropriate or illegal, it will be removed and the business will be blocked from our site. This is a FREE Jobs Board, for genuine jobs only. Any businesses who attempt to use the Jobs Board for general advertising purposes, will be removed from our site. If you are a fee paying Listed Business in our Directory, you will not be reimbursed the fees paid.
SWSM has no involvement whatsoever in the recruitment and selection process of Advertisers. Candidates and Advertisers are responsible for liaising directly with each other regarding recruitment matters. As such, SWSM provides no guarantee or warranty to either Advertiser or Candidates with regards to any matter recruitment related, however this arises – via contract, discussion, negligence or in any other manner.
Ads are placed for 30 days. After this time Advertisers will need to relist if needed. It is possible to delete/edit ads. Advertisers are responsible for managing this themselves. SWSM is in no way responsible and therefore takes no responsibility for any errors or inappropriate text or detail contained in Job Ads. Advertisers may use business logos and appropriate pictures on their Ads, but should always ensure they have the relevant permission for doing so before placing ads. Advertiser may not include links on our site to other job boards where the position is advertised. However, you may share the link created here, on your own businesses’ social media.
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring, before placing ads, that they comply with all relevant legislation. This includes, but is not limited to:
- i) Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
- ii) Fair Trading Act.
iii) Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission Act 1986 (Cth)
Iv) Competition and Consumer Act.
- v) Estate Agents Act
- vi) Australian Privacy Principles.
All Laws and codes of conduct with regards to Anti-discrimination and EEO.
SWSM recommends that Advertisers seek out applicable legislation and legal advice and are well aware of their responsibilities before advertising.
SWSMums takes no responsibility or liability for damages actual or potential, arising from our website being down and therefore ads not being displayed, either temporarily or permanently unavailable on our website.
You must not use the jobs board (or any feature of this website/facebook page/group or Instagram) to download, upload, or enter data that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, threatening, racially/ethnically offensive, and in any way potentially damaging to an individual, business or to SWSM reputation.
Both Advertisers and Candidates indemnify SWSM from all claims and lawsuits for damages and expenses with regards to any breach of any terms and conditions on our website. Advertisers and Candidates by accessing this Jobs Board, acknowledge that SWSM is in no way liable for and direct or indirect damages that may arise out of the recruitment/employment processes.
